Now don't get me wrong. I have nothing against improving our customer service. It isn't always possible with the resources at hand but we at CCP like to think we aim higher than mere contention.
That being said: Doing QA work is not a part of being a GM. They already have their work cut out for them. You will probably find some inconsistencies in some replies. You might even get what you consider attitude in a petition you've resent a couple of times. I cannot tell you how to deal with those incidents and my answer would be biased at any rate as I both work for CCP and have had the unpleasant experience of working in CS at an ISP while funding my university degree. The GMs are certainly not perfect. No human being is perfect, it's the human condition. They grow tired, restless, agitated, frustrated and irritable just like you. You might want to say that allowing that to affect your work is unprofessional but it's still a human reaction. We're not androids so you cannot expect us to behave like one.
That rant aside I would like to commend you on your willingness to troubleshoot what you thought was a problem. We have a separate system for people who are willing to put some time aside and help make EVE a better place. It's the bug report system. You're not guaranteed an answer nor a validation of your suspicion but nobody is keeping score. If you file a bug that is reproable and deemed as a defect it will get assigned to one of us developers and fixed in due time. This time will obviously be a factor of the complexity of the fix, it's severity on gameplay and free resources. But we still do appreciate the fact that you're willing to help, even if we don't fix the bug immediately.
But honestly, I have a hard time believing your intentions here are benign. You started a topic clearly stating that you wanted it to fill up with angry voices directed at us. You're obviously allowed to do this as long as you keep within the boundaries of forum rules and laeve GM interactions out of it (although I did catch you quoting GM Fate there IIRC) but you can't expect any of us to sit back and think "Gee, what a nice fellow who only wants to improve EVE". You also encourage other people to break the forum rules by starting to spam them? Then to compound my suspicion you top it off by mentioning the BPO incident.. and that's pretty much the Godwin's Law of EVE-O nowadays.
At any rate. You've said your piece. I've said mine. It was a nice practice in being nice for a change. I don't think it really suits me but I like a challenge. I request that you leave non customer service related mistakes of other people out of it. We've all done mistakes we're not proud of, payed the price and manned up for them. It's a part of becoming an adult which is an inevitable consequence of being born as a human being.
